Above the main bar we have two beautiful rooms for dining and a cosy snug bar with coal fire for a pre or post dining drink. Our two bay windowed townhouse style dining areas are very laid back with attentive but unstuffy service with a relaxed feel that you could be sitting in your front room.We are also available to hire for small weddings or celebrations, corporate meetings or conferences and private dining up to 30 people.
Room 1: is the main restaurant area with 7 or 8 tables which can accommodate tables of 2 to tables of 8. Our menu is seasonal and the majority of dishes are read from our huge specials board ensuring the freshest and in season produce. When a dish has sold out its simply rubbed off and a new dish is put up instead which give’s diners a new thing to try each time they come along with a few old favourites that will be available at all times in the restaurant.
Room 2: This will mainly be used in the evening for a private dining area where tables from 12 to 30 can enjoy there celebration or get together in the peace and quiet of there own room. Again with attentive but unstuffy service we can cater a set menu and wine list to your liking with prices varying to what your looking to pay for your night. Just speak to Angus or John, the owners and we’ll do everything to ensure you have what you want to enjoy your night.
